If your Debit Card has been lost or stolen :

Call the Barclays emergency number to cancel the card (Centre d'Opposition) immediately on 0.825.000.777* or Barclays-Sécurité Assistance on 01.40.25.15.18* if you are registered for this service.
 

In any case, please :
- Declare the theft at your local police station (Commissariat de Police)
- Confirm the loss or theft to the bank by registered mail (include the Declaration of Theft receipt)
 

If a cheque book or cheque has been stolen :

- Call your branch and provide all information required in order to cancel the cheque formally (cheque number, sum, payee)
- If your branch is closed, call the National Call Centre for lost and stolen cheques (Centre National d'appel des cheques perdus ou voles) on 08.92.68.32.08* (7 days a week).
